About Meghan

Meghan’s work is known for bold color pairings, contrasting gold borders, and a balance of organic movement with crisp, modern lines.

Raised by a professional artist, Meghan grew up surrounded by paint and creativity, knowing from an early age that art would be at the center of her life.

Originally from Raleigh, North Carolina, she earned a degree in Journalism from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, filling her schedule with as many studio art classes as possible along the way.

After years of working in digital marketing and public relations, Meghan pressed pause to focus on raising her children.

In 2021, she rediscovered her creative spark and launched a career in abstract art, later expanding into licensing her designs for select brand and product collaborations. Her original works are now held in private collections nationwide.

She is currently the Artist-in-Residence at The Carolina Inn, with her work featured throughout the historic hotel, reflecting her deep ties to Chapel Hill and UNC.

Drawing inspiration from music and movies, Meghan creates themed collections that celebrate iconic moments in pop culture. Her work often nods to favorite songs and films, with paintings inspired by everything from Weezer’s Blue Album to instantly recognizable quotes like “I’m Not a Regular Mom, I’m a Cool Mom.”

When she’s not in the studio, Meghan can be found planning her next getaway (Disney, Maine and Bald Head Island are favs), going to concerts, cheering on the Tar Heels, and navigating the ever-evolving and exciting adventure of parenthood.

She lives in Chapel Hill, North Carolina, with her husband, two children, and two Shihtzus.
