About Meghan

Meghan’s artistic style is known for pairing unexpected bright color combinations with contrasting gold borders. Using both soft and hard edges, Meghan seeks to create a natural flow of colorful shapes that fit together like a puzzle, drawing the viewer's eye across the canvas.

Creative Background

Creativity is in her genes. Meghan grew up in Raleigh, NC, where she spent long hours in her mother’s home art studio experimenting with different mediums.

While in college at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, Meghan majored in Journalism and took as many studio art courses as she could fit into her schedule. In her course work, she discovered a love of drawing with charcoal and creating canvas art with mixed media and found objects.

Meghan went on to have a career in PR, writing and digital marketing before taking time off with her children.

SAHM to Business Owner

Meghan started painting colorful abstracts to decorate her home in Chapel Hill during the pandemic when she had two kids at home and needed to carve out time for herself.

In 2021, when her youngest went to kindergarten, Meghan started an Instagram account to sell extra paintings to pay for a set of built-in bookshelves in her husband’s office.

Twenty (and counting) sold-out original art collections later, Meghan is proud of the work she has put into her growing business.

In 2022, Meghan launched a line of fine art prints and in 2023, she collaborated with a performance wear company to design a line of tennis clothing featuring her art. She also collaborated with a day planner company on a planner cover.

Meghan loves building relationships with her collectors, as many of her clients end up purchasing more paintings or prints after their first piece. She shares a love of designer fabrics and wallpaper with many of her clients and loves mixing patterns, colors, and styles of art in her home.

When she’s not covered in paint, Meghan enjoys traveling with her family, throwing theme parties, playing tennis + pickleball, going to concerts, and exploring the restaurant scene in Chapel Hill.
