THE APRIL COLLECTION

“The distance is nothing when one has motive.”
-Jane Austen, Pride & Prejudice

Jane Austen’s novel, Pride & Prejudice, provides so many quotable insights about society, love and matrimony. The above quote is powerful because Jane Austen railed against what her world expected of her, never married, and dedicated her short life to her work. Her six novels are amazing pieces of commentary on life in the upper parts of society in 1813 England, but while reading them one realizes how love, friendships and family dynamics haven’t changed at all.

Her characters are vivid, bold and colorful, much like this collection.
