The Romy + Michele Collection

I invented Post-its!

Not really, but I was inspired by my 25th high school reunion in April to paint a collection of original paintings dedicated to the best reunion movie out there: Romy + Michele.

The film is chaotic and hilarious, the cast is amazing, and the 90s fashion is over the top, but it really captures the trepidation and emotions that go into seeing people you haven’t seen in a long time.

My reunion weekend was great, and it was fun meeting spouses and seeing old friends. Just like the movie, I encountered similar characters: the “mean girls” who are still mean girls (eyeroll), the amazing people who are still amazing, and the friends I’ve kept in touch with and hope to know forever because they are fabulous people.

So, here’s to: Broughton High School class of 2000, anyone who’s contemplating going to their own reunion, and wild 90s movies like Romy + Michele.

Shipping prices for original paintings run between $80-$150.
Please allow 3 weeks for shipping. During this time, your painting is varnished and time is needed for drying before it is packaged. If you will be out of town or unable to receive your painting at a certain time, please let me know.
I take great care in packaging and insuring your pieces for shipment. Please save the original packaging and contact me within 3 days if your painting was damaged during the shipping process.

My frames are made out of high-grade Douglas Fir with a light gold finish. Slight imperfections are expected, as they are handmade, but please let me know if the frame is damaged during shipment.
