The Holiday is my favorite seasonal movie, but it hasn’t always been.
The perfectly imperfect story of the four main characters in very different settings makes more sense to me at this age than other holiday movies. Everyone has their faults, makes mistakes, and ends up where they should be on New Year’s Eve. Does everyone live happily ever after? I’m not sure. But, that’s okay.
I can’t talk about The Holiday without discussing director Nancy Meyers and the magic she creates with home interiors. I want to live in both Iris’s cozy cottage and Amanda’s airy home at the same time. I can’t even choose which one I like better.
I hope your holiday season is filled with love and laughter. Here’s to the last few original paintings of the year!

Shipping prices for original paintings run between $130-$190. Minis have a $10 additional shipping charge.
Please allow until December 15th for your painting to ship. During this time, your painting is varnished and time is needed for drying before it is packaged. If you will be out of town or unable to receive your painting at a certain time, please let me know.
I take great care in packaging and insuring your pieces. Please save the original packaging and contact me within 3 days if your painting was damaged during the shipping process.
